I didn’t know how the X-Men(those who don’t know it’s an American superhero movie series by Marvel Comics) got their name. Was it due to Prof. Xaviers’ starting letter or might be as they are eXtremely cool??

Well, I Googled it and found out that Xavier spends months recruiting his students calling them “X-Men” since each possessed an “eXtra” ability normal humans missed.

The Mutant X

Although it is extensively accredited to Professor Xavier’s name, The ‘X’ in X-Men in the first place standing for the mutants’ with X-tra special powers, and the exceptional “X factor” in their DNA which gave them their exceptional abilities.

But why X-“MEN”

In X-Men: Dark Phoenix, Raven said the infamous dialogue with a throwaway line. “By the way, the women are always saving the men around here,” she says. “You may want to think about changing the name to X-Women.”

Isn’t it’s true, in some way or the other?

Women have always a significant part in human advancement and have a substantial position in the social order. They are not at all substandard to men. They are competent in partaking in all the obligations of life. Women & men have been accurately equated to the wheels of the same carriage.

The biggest duty of a woman is to protect the human race. As a mother, her place is unique. She raises the kids with extreme care. A child’s first school is his mother’s lap. It is fairly right that great man had great mothers.

The development of a nation relies upon the manner in which the mothers bring up their kids. If the mothers are well-read, the whole society would progress. Napoleon said: “Give me good mothers and I will give you a good nation.”

Women had been great administrators, reformers, writers, poets, scholars, and saints. Women must be inclined to proper education as well as training. They must know what life is as well as how it must be lived.

We as women have that X-tra that could do much to transform the society. We often hear several societal disturbances which are orchestrated by those anti-social individuals, who were raised by maybe wrong hands or fall into one. Moreover, in our Indian society, these anti-social individuals have been often put to an end or corrected, in old times. We have heard stories of Gods taking female avatars. As women, we have been always been strong from within, but somehow we were made to forget that part within us.

Times are changing now, and more education among women means the more development of society.

I have always felt that every woman has a story to share and that the world would be a better place when women are heard.
