If you can’t recount by the name of today’s post, I recently turned 32 on 7th January!! I am excited to be taking another trip around the sun and so thankful to be able to celebrate another birthday.
As I have stated in my earlier post that I am having an extended visit to my parents, I get to celebrate my birthday with my parents after a long time.
As the clock struck 12:00 my mother was the first birthday
And my 32nd year of life has officially begun. My day left me feeling content, even though there was no fancy party. Needless to say, I was very thrilled to spend my birthday the way I have always wanted to with the people I love most.
So there are plenty of picturesque spots in my hometown and we decided to choose two of them as they were nearby.
My mother prepared meals for
My daughter was really excited to catch fish (however she was the one who was chasing them away).
Then I wanted to show my husband the location where I and my cousins use to go for picnics and swimming in summers for fun.
As my energy monster (daughter) dozed off and parents and my uncle were tired enough to go out, they stayed back to my uncle’s place, and I took the opportunity to show my husband the place, which was very close to my uncle’s place.
My husband was so impressed that he made a whole plan of buying land there and making a farmhouse to visit during summers or on weekends.
Anyways, the day ended well and refreshing not only for me but for everyone. What more can I ask for? This day of birth had shaped up to be quite lovely.
Moving over, as I get older and the years move along faster, I’ve realized and set on to give up the preconceived milestones for myself which go along with it and let my age define me. Age is now just a number instead of a reminder of life gone by and choices made.
I was excited and absolutely can’t wait to share this birthday post with you all, although it took me two days to write this post as I had to take a break because of the shoulder pain!
So far, 32 feels… better, more loved and hopefully more exciting .
So that’s all from me today!! Cheers to living for today…no regrets, no comparisons.
