If asked about the kind of movies I like, one of the answers expected of me will definitely include animation movies. Most people say, “Aren’t you too old to be watching animation movies??” Well to them my answer is I watch animated movies for the same reason they watch any other genre movie: “To be emotionally moved”. I mean that’s all movies do right!!
The way of storytelling which I look for… fuels your imagination. These movies serve as a good source of entertainment to people of all age groups and especially kids(here kids means adults, kids in past now adults). After all, we are a child within our heart. Because of the hectic responsibility filled life, this inner child gets suppressed somewhere. But when we get the chance to watch these movies we watch with our full heart.
Those days are long past when Disney gave us narrowed sexual orientation generalizations glamourized with a beautiful and melodic bundle. Post the 2000’s we saw a change from the movies that demonstrated us far beyond Mr. Perfect meets the princess and they live happily ever after. We saw some amazing works unfolding life learned lessons. Ensuring to encounter life through a quietly bundled social message, it’s present time to pass on some life lessons to our children too. Here are 10 films that we should make our children watch (and watch ourselves, well I have watched them many times over and over & still not bored) and make them take in some things from.
Ellie, “Adventure is out there.”
And to add to this: “You just have to step out there to find it.”
